About the role

You will be managing a network of cloud-based servers and systems, ensuring the highest levels of system availability at all times including the seamless connectivity to our telephony platform and other ICT platforms  This ultimately of course ensures our customers receive reliable and uninterrupted monitoring of their alarms.  Given that responsibility that will require you to be an escalation point, offering technical expertise 24/7 for the trickier issues that may arise occasionally. 

You will be support the testing and deployment of new alarm technology into our business and support internal teams with the technical support that they need. You will support to resolve any communication/and or configuration issues as they arise. Your customer focused approach and ability to show leadership through technical challenges, both to manage, investigate and resolve with the right solution will be one of your keys to success.

About you:

You’ll bring 2 + years of experience in administering ICT platforms, ideally from within a similar background/environment or have a passion working in and around communications and signaling.  Your talent includes the ability to work autonomously, juggling priorities and tasks that will require you mixing people skills with technical nous.

Ideally, you will have experience with Response platforms/software ( CAMs, Essence or Patriot). Your previous experience in Security/Medical Alarm systems will also be highly advantageous.    

Bottom line, while you can speak signaling, receivers and alarms, understanding how they work, you will be working right across the systems stack to ensure our systems function at their optimal to maintain a resilient and high quality service to our customers that depend on their alarm for safety and independence.

Ideally you hold a relevant ICT related qualification with a recognised tertiary institute, Office tools, Excel, Access, Power BI and MS SQL, Splunk is a given.
